Hello. :) I'm at work right now, but we're not drilling too fast so I thought I'd write about my doctor's appointment yesterday. I'll backtrack real quick to the night of the 5th. I was at work and for some reason I was having a very emotional day. I'd get angry over little things and then cry afterwards. I was also a little anxious about my doctor's appointment the next day. I was pretty busy at work so I only got maybe 2 or 3 hours of sleep. Naturally this would make me tired and crabby the next day.

February 6th

My relief was a half hour late and we had to go over some things before I left, so I didn't leave work until 9am. I stopped to get a couple breakfast burritos for hubby and I and got home around 9:45am. I ate my burrito and went through yesterday's mail. I was happy to find that I received a reimbursement check from my college. I may use this money for a massage or facial. I also got a package from the Asian Food Grocer containing my Asian "groceries". I love that website. Anyway, my doctor's appointment wasn't until 1:30pm so I laid down, took a nap and woke up about 12:15pm. Taking naps during the day sucks because I always feel more tired than I felt before said nap.

So, I jump in the shower, get dressed and head out the door about 1:10pm. The clinic is barely 5 minutes away so I got there at 1:15pm. A little after 1:30 I was taken back where a nurse took my vitals and left me in a room to wait for the doc. He came in to take a look at my stitches. He said I was healing nicely and had me lay down so he could take them out. This may sound strange but when he was taking them out it felt really good; like he was scratching an itch. So, it only took him maybe 5 minutes to take them out and then we discussed when I would come back to have the other cyst taken out. I'm going back this Wednesday at 1pm. We then part ways and I go to the front desk to schedule my appointment and pay my co-pay. I also tell them I need to see Dr. Mbonde to go over my lab results. They tell me she won't be available until 2:30pm and tell me to come back then. It's 2pm by this time so I go to a nearby Sonic and grab some lunch.

After eating a leisurely lunch in my car I go back to the clinic. After maybe 10 or 15 minutes they take me back where a different nurse takes my vitals again. Then I go back into another room to wait for the doc. A few minutes later she comes in. I didn't find out anything about the mass on my pelvis because the hospital didn't send the x-rays over. : She did want to go over my lab results though. She said my PAP was normal, woo. But the blood work taken to test my glucose and cholesterol levels was why she asked me to come in. My glucose is fine but it appears I have borderline high cholesterol and she wanted to talk to me about losing some weight and watching what I eat. She asked if high cholesterol ran in my family and I didn't know. Though, I talked to my Mom and she said it does run in the family. Sooo... that's all that happened really. I signed a release form on my way out so that the hospital could send the x-rays to the clinic.

That's really all that happened yesterday. I got home and played on my computer a bit. A little later I made Thai stir fry for dinner and hubby and I watch Hancock while we ate. Then, I did my homework and when I was done with that I played Animal Crossing online with my little sister. I then went to bed and now I am here at work today. That's all I have for now. :)
