Random Update

I don't really have much to write about. But I'm at work and bored so I thought I'd write something.

Yesterday was Hubby's birthday. At his request I made stuffed shells for dinner along with garlic bread and wine. For dessert I made a sugar-free low-fat lemon cheesecake. Hubby loved it, I thought it was ok. Next time I will use sugar free lemon pudding rather than gelatin. Here's a pic for those interested in the outcome. I got him the recently released Street Fighter IV. The art work in that game is sweet. I feel bad that I couldn't do anything grander for him. I had to work the previous day so I was super tired. But he said everything was fine.

What else? I still haven't heard from the doctor about my x-rays. I will have to call about that when I get home tomorrow. I can't believe it's taking this long...

My parents-in-law are moving into our house in Ohio and our current tenants are moving out. I don't know what the deal is with people these days. Our first tenants were the tenants from hell and we're sueing them and our current tenants are just as bad only they didn't steal anything or damage anything (as far as I know). They haven't paid the rent nor any of the utilities and they were also moving out and didn't tell me. It clearly states in the agreement they signed that they are to give 14 days notice; which they didn't. Also, for whatever reason they called the Gas company and had their $500 gas bill sent to my address here in New Mexico. That bad boy got sent straight back to them.

They are already moved out of my house and living with their parents but all of their furniture is still in my house. The electric has already been changed over to my parents-in-law. When my Mother-in-law went over to look at the place every single light was on in the house and she couldn't get in because the bolt had been changed by the previous tenants. She called them and told them they needed to turn off the lights because it was going towards her electric bill. She requested this several times so I finally wrote a firm e-mail and have not gotten a response. I will be calling them tomorrow when I get home. After my Mother-in-law inspects the house we'll decide how the rent is to be paid. If there is no damage I will simply keep their $300 security deposit and they will need to send an additional $100. If there is damage I will use the security deposit and they will need to send the full $400.

Seriously, what is wrong with people? I am currently renting until we find a house here in New Mexico and I wouldn't dream of acting like these people. Whatever, if it comes to it I'll sue them too. *rolls eyes*

What else? Nothing really. I finished my modeling class. A picture can be seen of my final project in my last post. I just started College Math II a couple days ago. I'm so glad it's geometry. I'm awful at math in general but geometry is easier for me to understand because it's sort of "illustrated". LoL I want to go full time so that I can graduate in 2 years but I'm sort of scared to. I want to graduate with the best grades I can get. The problem is... I procrastinate. My level of procrastination is probably an 8 out of 10. In a couple months pretty much all of our smaller bills will be totally paid off and we'll only have to worry about The Big Three. The Big Three are our biggest bills with the highest interest rates. I haven't decided how we are going to use our tax return. I could use all of it to pay off a good chunk of one of The Big Three, or I could split it up three ways and pay off medium sized chunks out each of them. I guess we'll see. I've started our tax return with Turbo Tax but haven't finished it yet. As of right now it says we'll be getting about $2,700 back. Most of it is due to a Lifetime Learning Credit because I'm in school. Hopefully that number doesn't change when I finish (unless it goes up of course).

Well, that is all for now. I'm going to take a nap before they get back to drilling.
Ciao!
